Begin with one small thing.
Do you ever feel that you need to do something special to feel connected to Japan?
Perhaps you imagine a trip, a ceremony, or a home filled with Japanese objects. But that connection can be quieter — and much closer to everyday life.
It might begin with the way you make a cup of tea, the bowl you use each day, or a moment spent noticing the changing seasons.
Small things like these can bring a quiet sense of Japan into your everyday life. And perhaps, little by little, the familiar world around you will begin to look a little different.
These ten quiet ways are an invitation to begin with what you already have.
